Join Books2Prisoners for a panel discussion featuring a public defender, a formerly incarcerated community member, a jail librarian, and a Books2Prisoners volunteer as they explore the relationship between literacy and incarceration.
Together, they'll discuss the barriers to education behind bars, how access to books and information can support personal growth and successful reentry, and what communities can do to expand educational opportunities for incarcerated individuals.
This event free and open to the public - all are welcome!
