DoctoberFest, a new event from The Chambana Film Society, will be featuring over a dozen documentary screenings throughout the month, mostly high profile theatrical releases that did not play in the CU area. Most of them have played at world-class film festivals like Sundance, SXSW, and Tribeca.
A celebration of girlhood and the complexities that come with it, Cookie Queens is a coming-of-age story about the joys, pressures, and tensions woven into one of America's most cherished rituals: Girl Scout Cookie season.Tickets $12 and sold through the Chambana Film Society.
