Step into an enchanted space where imagination meets nature!
Students in ARTJ 301: Manga: The Art of Image and Word and ARTJ 301 CHP: Anime, Manga, and the Margins of Culture bring the magic and beauty of the Japanese art styles of manga and anime to life! Families can enjoy a walk-in manga gallery featuring original student drawings, along with creating their own manga, have a manga-style caricature drawn by a student artist, and enjoy live music throughout the evening.
As evening falls, the garden glows with 75 hand-carved Jack-o’-lanterns, crafted by Unit One/Allen Hall students. Plus, discover, play, and connect with sustainability! Student groups and campus organizations will be on hand for an education fair with engaging activities and displays that highlight simple, family-friendly ways to care for our environment.
