Join Caprae for an intimate evening celebrating raclette, the legendary Alpine cheese that has brought people together for centuries. Our raclette comes from Leelanau Cheese Co. in Suttons Bay, Michigan. Our kitchen has crafted a menu showcasing this delicious regional raclette alongside vegetables, herbs, and fruits grown on our farm and by neighboring producers.About RacletteRaclette is a semi-soft, washed-rind cow's milk cheese known for its exceptional melting quality and silky texture. Its name comes from the French racler, "to scrape," a nod to its traditional preparation, where Alpine shepherds melted it by evening fires and scraped the molten cheese over potatoes and mountain provisions. Once a humble sustenance cheese, raclette has become the centerpiece of communal dining and celebration.The MenuFamily-style starters, followed by a plated main with unlimited trips to the melting station!
