Because it is almost Halloween, this week from 8-11 PM on Friday, October 30th at the Observatory (901 S Mathews Ave, Urbana, IL 61801), we will be holding a Haunted Open House! It's essentially a regular open house but with Halloween theming, decorations, and costumes! We will be observing both up in the dome and in the backyard(weather permitting), sky tours, and the antique room open. ANYONE is welcome to come, so tell all your friends about it! We may also have a few tricks and treats for the holiday. More info about Astronomical Society at the University of Illinois: https://uias.astro.illinois.edu/index.html
