Recession Pop - That late-2000s/early-2010s era of Gaga, Rihanna, Kesha, Britney and Katy—huge dance beats, glitter everywhere, and choruses you still know word for word. Minus Nicki Minaj—her invitation got revoked, babes.
The bills were due, the eyeliner was questionable, and every song demanded you report to the dance floor.
Calling all little monsters, pop divas, and former messy club kids: Dress like the paparazzi are outside. Dance like your flip phone can't record it.
